Hoop Dossier is brand new and in testing, so things change often. See something wrong? Let me know.

Standings. Teams is now Standings: East, West and the whole league in one table, with each team's record, games behind, last 10, streak, home and road, conference and division records, point differential and next game. A line marks the top 6 (playoffs) and 7-10 (play-in), and teams you follow are tinted. Every team name opens its team file. Team pages say where the team stands (for example 4th in East · 1.5 GB of 3rd), game cards show the seed beside the record on wider screens, and My Dossier shows it for your teams.

Analyzer in the top bar, My Dossier, Prediction tools. The Analyzer is back in the top bar and the My item is named My Dossier. The small badges on the Screener and Analyzer are gone: a short notice under the top bar says the whole site is new and in testing, with a link to let me know what looks off. The switch for predictions is now called Prediction tools (your setting is kept).

Hide scores and a TV-safe delay. Watching on a delay, or catching up later? Under Scores at the top of any page you can hide scores and results until you tap Show score on a game (cards, the Rundown, storylines, My Dossier and game pages), and set a delay of 30 s to 5 min so live scores and plays never run ahead of your TV. Screen-reader users can have the score read out when it changes. Saved in your browser only. The Guide explains how far behind the arena live pages are.

Oct 23

Game page on a big screen. On a wide screen the game page now keeps what people are saying (and, before tip, the injury report) in a column beside the stats, so you no longer switch tabs to read it. The box score keeps its header row and player names in view while you scroll, and the home page cards show the score by quarter during and after a game.

Oct 22

Shorter Analyzer, Props and Guide. The Analyst Analyzer is now one sentence for the whole record and one list, voices with settled results first; the filters and how grades work sit behind one fold. A voice's page opens on their record and newest calls, with every call, the trust score (experimental) and the details in tabs. Props opens on points, with each other stat one tap away. The Guide is five short steps, each with a button to the page it explains.

Before, during and after. A game is now a different page at each stage: a Preview before tip, Live while it is on and a Recap once it is over, and the home card says which. A live card keeps the tip time on top and shows the score, the clock and the lines as they were at tip; nothing older. A finished card shows the score and each team's top scorer (with Prediction tools on, how far our projection missed). The moment a game ends, its page keeps the line score and says the box score is on its way, which now takes minutes rather than most of an hour. The Rundown moves played games to one result row under Played; the team, player and My pages show Live and Final chips.

Simpler top bar and home page. The top bar is six places: Games, ★ My, Rundown, Teams, Players and the Screener (with Prediction tools on, a Predictions item joins them and lists the prop board and the other prediction tools). The Analyst Analyzer and the Guide moved to the foot of every page; the Analyzer also sits under Players. The home page is now the slate: the games, then last night's finals as one row, then up to four storylines and one line of links. The feature cards live on the Guide.

Game pages. A new shape: the game card you know is now the page header (time and place on top, the two teams, the win chance or the score), then tabs instead of one long scroll: Overview, Stats, Said, Injuries and News before tip; Stats, Recap, Said and Preview after. The Stats tab compares the two teams on mirrored bars with the better side marked, and the box score has Starters, Bench, a Team row and a team switcher. Finished games add the line score by quarter, the game's team totals and a Plays tab ("How it went": the scores, lead changes, runs and timeouts in our words). Every tab shows only what exists; nothing is deeper than one tap and one fold.

My Dossier. One page for the players and teams you follow: their next games, what changed since you last checked (availability, lineup, line moves, news and what is being said, each with its source and time, new items marked NEW), whether a teammate's absence affects your players (one tap to who steps up), and your saved screens. Still saved in this browser only: no account, no copy kept.

Props. The prop board now shows his previous regular season in its own labelled column (with one tap to that split in the Screener) while this season's cells stay empty until he plays; his injury status and, with Prediction tools, projected minutes sit under his name; "check" and "no estimate" are explained in place. New: /props lists every upcoming line across the slate with game, team, stat and status filters.

Oct 20

Screener. A friendlier start: type a question in the Ask box ("Edwards on a back-to-back", "when Jokić is out"), tap a Try it example that is already answered, and see who steps up tonight when a regular is officially out. Every result now opens with a one-sentence answer you can copy.

Oct 19

Inside the Lab. Updated: what to expect early on (few or no bets until the model earns trust), how bets are checked against the closing line (Pinnacle for game bets, DraftKings for props) and how new ideas are tested.

Transparency. New pages: 'Where our numbers come from' explains what our experimental projections are, how we test them and what they leave out; 'Inside the Lab' shows how we test them, with the live record. With Prediction tools on, tap any player projection to see what moved it.

Screener. The last-10 strip now marks games a player missed in that stretch (grey dots, with the date and reason when you hover), so a hot or cold run is not read without its gaps.

Analyst Analyzer. Clearer about how early it is: how many voices have a listed call so far and how many calls are still waiting. Voices with settled results come first; the ones with no calls yet are one compact list.

Screener. Results now explain why Usually, In situation and Shift do not simply subtract (Shift compares games within the same season). Trends from only 5-9 games are marked 'few games' with a warning.

The story. Every game page now opens with the biggest story around the matchup and the threads that complete the picture (injuries, debuts, contract drama, rumors), written from the reports and podcasts it links to. Rumors and opinions are labelled.

What people are saying. Now on game pages too, and wider: reporters and insiders on X and Bluesky and ESPN stories alongside the team podcasts.

Sources. Every item says where to check it: podcast items name the episode and the minute it was said, with a listening link; posts link to the original; ESPN notes link to the player's ESPN page.

Podcast summaries. Names the audio garbled are now resolved before publishing; when we are not sure, the item says 'name uncertain'. The same point said several ways now shows once.

Old news. News about a game a team already played is labelled 'About an earlier game' and no longer shows in the Rundown, so a preseason absence is not mistaken for the next game.

Injuries. Each injury card now shows the newest report, even when an older post was collected later.

Schedules. Games further out on a team's schedule open a short page with both team files until their game file opens.

Oct 18

Analyst Analyzer. Every listed call now gets a second, independent check against the recording (marked ✓ checked) and shows where in the episode it was said. Conference-seed calls can now be settled.

Home. A 'Last night' strip keeps yesterday's scores on the home page after the morning switch to today's games.

Link previews. Sharing a Hoop Dossier link on X, Discord, iMessage or Facebook now shows a proper preview card.

Analyst Analyzer. Renamed from the Analyst tracker. Only calls that can be checked are listed; every call has a Flag link; corrections are logged publicly; you can recommend voices to follow.

Screener. Rebuilt: every player-game since 2022-23, four views (Tonight, By situation, Player splits, Build a screen), last-10 trends, CSV export and saved screens.

Player and team pages. Redesigned: team colours, next and last game at the top, a jump menu and a cleaner two-column layout.

Everywhere. Every stat number now carries its unit (pts, reb, ast), so nothing is a bare number.

Team files. A living file for all 30 teams: availability, rotation, a dated 'what changed' timeline and open questions.

Things to watch. Each game lists a few questions before tip-off, answered from the box score afterwards.
