The Warriors will get back their veterans tomorrow night in Denver. Steph Curry, Draymond Green and Al Horford are cleared vs Nuggets. So is Brandin Podziemski. All four missed the Phoenix loss. Gui Santos is questionable. Brandon Williams and Charles Bassey are probable.

- Zach Lowe: Zach expects Horford to play only a limited number of games and said he doesn't know what's going on with Porzingis. Fred called not having Porzingis huge and said he would think differently if Porzingis could play a normal 60 games. at 37:02
- Zach Lowe: Zach: when Steph, Draymond and a stretch five (Horford, or Porzingis when healthy) are on the floor, the Warriors are tricky to play against and will win some games. Both hosts still left Golden State out of their play-in picks. at 36:47
- Fred: Horford, now 40, lost steam in the second half of last season, though he is known for taking great care of his body. at 37:31

- Charlie Walter: In the preseason game against the Lakers, Walker Kessler did damage when Yaxel or Charles Bassey guarded him. The Warriors were without Draymond and Al Horford that game. The host expects Horford to miss many games anyway, which makes big man a position of need. at 11:42
- Charlie Walter: Chuck's view: assume Al Horford will be out every other night anyway, which makes big man a position the Warriors will look at. at 11:50

- Matt Kolsky: A host is okay with Bassey as backup center. He said Horford looks like the center in front of Bassey for now. Bassey rebounds and finishes around the basket but turns it over when he tries to do more on offense. at 4:48
- Matt Kolsky: Kolsky said Horford, Draymond and Curry are all relatively healthy right now, but he doesn't think any of them can be counted on for more than about 60 games. Earlier, a host assumed one of the three will miss every other game. at 8:57
- Matt Kolsky: Kolsky said Draymond is needed as a rim protector. If Porzingis and Horford were anchoring the back line, Draymond could defend on the perimeter against bigger wings. He added that the team lacks the offensive firepower to survive bad team defense. at 29:05
